The Mountain

The Mountain is a painting of how much perspective can change a story. The little silhouettes are hikers that just wanted to have a good time. They don't realize what they're climbing on isnt a mountain because of their size.

Blue Girl

This girl is the last of her species and she doesn't know what to do now that the world has ended.

Moon Tree (Project of choice 2)

I wanted it to look scary and cool but I'm not that good with paint yet I guess. I still like it though. I think I did a good job on everything except for the background. I don't have a picture but i turned it in.

Space girl (Project of choice 1)

I haven't decided if she's an alien or a planet but I had to use paint to make her. I tried to put a galaxy in the background but it looks weird to me. I need work on that and I just realized how much it looks like the Harlem renaissance piece which is crazy because I didn't plan that at all.

Tempera Batik

Heart

This was made with tempera paint and once the tempera dried I painted over it with ink.

Harlem Renaissance

This is an illustration from Harlem's Little Blackbird: The Story of Florence Mills by Renée Watson and illustrated by Christian Robinson.

Miguel Covarrubias(1904-1957)
The painting is called "Rhapsody in Blue" and it originally in color but this is the the version that inspired me.

This is actually from Princess and the Frog. It was produced by Disney and I didn't realise the picture was from the movie I just was drawn to it.

This is the final piece. I used paint for the woman and the black background and I used crayon to make the fist.

Color Theory Portrait

For my portrait I had to paint with different color schemes. Examples of color schemes are like complimentary, triad colors, monochrome, and original colors.
